The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) unit is dedicated to advancing the productivity, sustainability, and profitability of agricultural and natural resource enterprises in Texas. It provides research-based education, resources, and programs to support farmers, ranchers, landowners, and industry professionals in effectively managing their operations and preserving natural resources.

Mission:

    • Animal health, nutrition, breeding, and management for various livestock species.
    • Sustainable grazing practices and forage management.
  3. Natural Resource Management:
    • Land stewardship, wildlife management, and habitat conservation.
    • Water quality and conservation, soil conservation, and rangeland management.
  4. Horticulture:
    • Home gardening, commercial horticulture, and landscape management.
